   Hiya Mate,

   I have been doing muscular workouts for knocking on 6 years now and believe you me I have spent many sleepless hours reading and trying many natural herbal supplements so I will try nutshell it without draggling on and on.

   Out of the 9 or so herbal supplements I tried I found pure epimedium extract or as its know commonly these days as horny goat weed extract. However you have to make and educated purchase as with any dietary supplement, you must get the one that is tailored to your specific requirements.

   The most important note to make is that the active ingredient in epicedium is known as icariin. Icariin is one of the best herbal bodybuilding supplements available to date, very potent and widely established. and if you do some thorough research on the top natural herbal testosterone booster bodybuilding supplements out there you will find that they contain a high percentage of icariin in their epimedium extract.

   Okay what you will find with icariin is that it is used in bodybuilding supplements in good high strengths of icariin, but the problem is that many brands mix the horney goat weed extract with other substances that aren’t quite as effective as the horny goat weed itself.

   Most body builders after trying a few supplements that are mixes of substances will eventually go after the pure icariin extract and do the job properly, making there own stack tailored to their requirement.

   Work out. If your really serious do a changing routine through out the week (IE not the same muscle two days in a row). Always focus on the working out the overrall body instead of just a single or several parts. If that doesn’t work you can do some research on how much protein in grams your body needs per day to achieve muscle mass build up.

   Protein bars can be a decent choice but they often have lots of fat and other things you don’t need. I use Power Bar Protein plus along with trying to have at least one other source of protein in my day and I am a decently large guy. Those bars also taste pretty good (don’t eat them just to eat them though). Make sure to drink lots of water with what ever protein supplements you take and make sure its FDA approved. Don’t forget to add cardio to reduce the excess calories.
