    You don’t have to go on a diet, you have to become serious about your diet. “Diet”, doesn’t mean calorie restriction, it means one’s intake. You have to ask yourself, 1 question> ” Why do you eat a lot of unhealthy stuff”? If you are satisfied with your answer, not much can be done. If you are unhappy with the answer, then you’re half way there. Eat for health, not for looks. Peace, Vic

    I don’t drink juice. I would rather eat the fruits that juice comes from and drink water. I really don’t take a hard position on juice, however, it is rarely as wholesome as I’d like to believe. I try not to eat processed foods. In a way, juice is processed. Obviously there is stuff in the juice that wasn’t in the fruit, just look at the label. If it were just the juice form the fruit, the label would have only 1 item.

    I would say I am probably close, between all of the dairy and yogurt and chicken. I don’t count exactly. I am eating about 2200 calories per day, so eating lean for me is the only way to get what I need.

    @vicsnatural Thanks for the great feedback Vic. You rock :-)

  6. serichejr Says:

    @vicsnatural Do you drink juice? I am just curious I am trying to cut weight and and cutting down the juice too, but I come from a tropical weather and coconut water/juice is my passion I know that has like 25 grams of sugar per can.
    I would like your advice if its possible, thanks.

  7. vicsnatural Says:

    @christiantjr
    I haven’t had sugar now or white flour in at least 10 years. In August of 2001, I had my last drink of alcohol. I haven’t had any friend foods in at least 15 years and haven’t had anything non- organic in at least 3 years. I don’t consider people who eat otherwise cheating. It’s just not something that agrees with me. Vic

    Hi Chad, I walk about 4 miles per day, fairly nice pace. 2 miles in the a.m. and 2 miles in the p.m. Not really intense work, just enough for my heart. I don’t use cardio for weight maintenance. Vic

    HAHAHA great vid vic

  15. christiantjr Says:

    Vic do you allow yourself cheat meals? A cheat day? What’s your strategy there. Literally no junk food ever? I understand every person responds differently to different things. I’m admittedly just a little curious how hard core you are. Haha :-) Peace out. Much appreciation for the videos you’ve made.

    Been training 20 years and making great gains now. I know more and I have much more patience so making gains comes a bit easier. The benefit of watching my dvds is that I have made so many mistakes. I probably have about 5 years of mistakes. This is how I learned by trying and taking good notes. Peace, Vic

  17. LiberatorOfAmerica Says:

    Vic, how long have you been training and are you still making gains?

  18. vicsnatural Says:

    @BassDrumsGuitarMasta
    That day I was training for hours. I try to use good form for demonstration. However, when I train, I obviously don’t spend hours and hours, so I have more gas in the tank to lift a bit heavier. I use manageable weights for me. Let’s say something I really feel on the 10th rep. that’s what I play with. Moving up in 10 pound increments to complete 4 to 5 sets or attempts. Peace, Vic

    @slayerguitar
    Oh yeah friend.It isn’t easy- nothing worthwhile is. Takes a while to change habits, but it’s cool take your time, cut down without forgetting to live a little here and there. Vic

  20. vicsnatural Says:

    @porkROLZ
    There really isn’t a better or worse, it is a trial and error process. Really a lot of fun. Try training with weights that are manageable- weights that feel like they are testing you at around the 10th or 11th rep. Again, light is a term of art. I use weights that are manageable for me. Given my size and weight and experience, light for me is not really light to many. Let’s substitute light for manageable. Vic

    Well- he is an efficient burner. He is able to expend enough energy to mitigate any caloric overload. Pretty rare. He can attribute it to his metabolism. Many people, regardless of how much they diet have a hard time losing weight- because when they diet their metabolism slows down. Unfortunate, but this is what happens to a lot of people. Without offering too much here. Your friend should thanks his stars and remember , input equals output. Imagine if he was nourished properly?

    @lokomoko3462
    I think 3 times a week in the gym is really sufficient. If you are eating lean, eating well, etc…3 times is really solid.
    You can do a regular split , back and bis day 1 day 2 chest and tris, day 3 shoulders and legs. you could hit abs on day 1 and day 3 and calves on day and day 3. sounds reasonable?

    @premium1823
    I think it is called living. One good research cardiologist told me that he prefers sunflower and safflower oil. IN fact, he said you can cut your olive oil with this as it has some wonderful properties. As far as red wine. I am italian and I have been hearing every justification for a glass of vino. I will say this. I don’t drink – a personal choice, however, if one can stop at one, then sounds perfectly fine to me. This way, you enjoy, it may help and most likely can’t hurt . Vic

  24. lokomoko3462 Says:

    hey Vic i wanted to ask you about something… i wanted to know how should i divide my workout on each day for example which musles should go along on the same day and also how many times a week should i go to the gym and should i take a rest between each day or not? thank u :D
